Privacy Policy
How information is used when you browse, enquire, apply or place an order.
Updated 28 September 2026
01. The organisation responsible
PRODRIVE EV LABS LTD is responsible for personal information supplied for our business purposes. We are incorporated in Ghana, company registration CS133080625. Contact info@pev-labs.com and mark your message “Privacy request”.
This notice covers the public website and related enquiries, recruitment and order communications. Separate employee or project notices may apply to restricted systems.
02. Information and purposes
We receive the information you choose to provide: contact details, organisation, message, vehicle or site requirements and supporting documents. Recruitment may include your CV and application details. When an order facility is used, it may collect contact and delivery information, product choices, configuration requests and correspondence.
We use relevant information to answer enquiries, assess requirements, prepare offers, fulfil agreed work, administer applications, keep business records and address disputes or security issues. Required fields are identified in the form. Please avoid unnecessary identity documents, sensitive information, passwords or payment credentials.
03. Hosting, forms and external services
Cloudflare delivers the public website and may process network information such as IP addresses, request details and security events. Contact forms submit to our company-operated backend through Cloudflare. We store the enquiry and any supplied document to handle your request, and use Spacemail for business email delivery and correspondence.
Some pages request fonts or icons from Google Fonts and cdnjs; existing remote images may be supplied by Unsplash. Those requests expose ordinary connection information to the provider. Links to maps, social networks or other sites lead to their own services and privacy notices. A payment provider, if enabled, will be identified at checkout before payment.
04. Browser storage and your choices
The site stores the motion preference in local storage and the announcement dismissal in session storage. Where cart and kit-configuration tools are enabled, those choices may also be retained on the device. Local storage usually persists until cleared; session storage is scoped to the browser session. These are distinct from cookies.
Use the site’s motion control and your browser’s reduced-motion setting. You can clear site data or block storage in browser settings, although saved choices may be lost. Infrastructure providers may use security-related cookies. We will explain any added optional tracking or marketing technology and obtain consent where required before using it.
05. Lawful use, access and sharing
We process information for an identified lawful purpose, using consent or another applicable justification such as responding to a requested transaction, performing an agreement, complying with law or protecting legitimate interests. Information should be limited to what the purpose needs.
Access should be limited to personnel and service providers involved in the relevant work. Necessary details may be shared with suppliers, delivery partners, professional advisers or authorities for the stated purpose or a legal requirement. Our policy is not to sell personal information or publish customer or corporate personal records as website content.
06. Retention and international processing
Retention depends on the purpose: enquiry correspondence while it is needed to handle and resolve the enquiry; application records for the relevant recruitment process and justified follow-up; order, tax, warranty and engineering records for applicable legal, contractual and service needs. Records should be deleted or de-identified when no longer needed, subject to lawful retention.
Hosting, form and email providers may process information outside Ghana. Requests about the provider used for your submission and applicable safeguards can be sent to our privacy contact. We do not claim that all data remains in Ghana.
07. Your rights and complaints
Under applicable data-protection law, you may request access to information about you, correction of inaccurate data and deletion where retention is no longer lawful. You may object to applicable processing, stop direct marketing and withdraw consent where consent is the basis. These rights have legal conditions and exceptions.
Email our privacy contact with enough information to identify your request. We may seek proportionate identity verification through an appropriate channel. We will explain the action taken or the reason a request cannot be fulfilled. You may also contact Ghana’s Data Protection Commission. Applicable rights in another jurisdiction remain available where its law applies.
08. Security and confidential material
Use the HTTPS website and verified business email addresses. Do not submit secrets or full payment credentials in free-text fields. For confidential engineering or identity material, first ask us for the appropriate transfer method and authorised recipient.
Our handling requirements include access control, proportionate data protection and response to security incidents. No internet service is risk-free. Suspected data exposure can be reported to our privacy contact; regulatory and individual notifications must follow applicable legal requirements.
09. Recruitment, minors and automated decisions
Recruitment information is used to consider the relevant application. A general enquiry is not an agreement to receive marketing. Our commercial services are intended for adults and authorised business representatives; contact us if a child’s information has been provided unnecessarily.
Website power or budget selections describe customer preferences and do not constitute an automated engineering approval or credit decision. If materially different automated processing is introduced, the relevant notice and rights information must be provided.
10. Changes and reference information
The date above identifies this version. Material changes will be reflected here and communicated separately where the law requires. You can keep a copy using your browser’s print or save function.
Reference: Ghana Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843). This policy describes the handling framework; it is not a claim of a particular regulator registration or certification.
