Impact & investment

Engineering the
lower-carbon future.

More life from useful vehicles. More value from renewable energy. Practical decarbonisation, built around people and the systems they depend on.

ProDrive EV Labs Ltd brings electric mobility, energy integration and engineering R&D into one development programme.

Mobility and energy, considered together.

The opportunity

Build on what exists.
Change what comes next.

Electrification is a system decision. Vehicles, energy supply, charging, cost and maintenance need to work together.

Keep useful assets in service

Assess whether a sound vehicle can be adapted instead of replaced. Design around safe integration, repairability and its remaining useful life.

Connect energy more intelligently

Consider solar, storage and charging together. Match supply to demand, account for conversion losses and assess opportunities to reduce reliance on fossil-fuel generation.

Build capability that stays

Develop serviceable designs, documented interfaces and practical know-how. Local engineering and support are part of making the transition durable.

Engineering & R&D services

Meaningful impact

Look beyond
the tailpipe.

Battery-electric driving removes exhaust emissions at the vehicle. Its wider climate impact also depends on materials, battery production, electricity, efficiency and service life.

Assess & retainDesign & integrateUse & maintainRecover responsibly
Resource efficiency & circular design

Retain suitable structures and components, design for inspection and repair, and consider disassembly at the outset. Reuse follows condition, compatibility and safety assessment; it is never assumed appropriate for every vehicle or battery.

Energy efficiency & renewable integration

Assess the complete duty cycle, including payload, routes, auxiliaries, HVAC, charging and storage losses. Renewable generation and charge scheduling can influence operating emissions; actual benefits depend on when and how electricity is supplied and used.

Responsible batteries & end-of-life planning

Plan for traceability, safe maintenance, condition assessment and a suitable end-of-life route. Battery second life requires an application-specific safety and performance review; recycling depends on appropriate qualified partners and applicable requirements.

Measure outcomes, then communicate them

Compare a defined project with a documented alternative delivering the same service. Set the lifetime, mileage or energy delivered; include equipment production, fuel and electricity, replacements and end-of-life assumptions. Report the data sources, uncertainty and boundaries alongside any result.

Project-level avoided emissions should be reported separately from a company's own greenhouse-gas inventory. They are not automatically carbon credits or offsets.

Our commitment is to transparent, project-specific assessment. We do not publish a quantified carbon-saving or carbon-neutrality claim without the supporting evidence.

The investment perspective

Practical engineering.
Long-term value.

Our investment thesis is that electrification becomes more useful when transport, energy and local technical support are developed together.

A connected engineering business

ProDrive EV Labs Ltd is developing a project-led business around vehicle conversion, energy-system integration and engineering services.

Customers can start by assessing a project, developing a solution or verifying a design. The scope connects the operating need with practical deliverables and the evidence required for the next decision.

Discuss investment & partnerships
Who we aim to serve

Individual vehicle owners, fleet operators, businesses, institutions and engineering teams pursuing custom mobility or energy projects. Each opportunity starts with customer needs, affordability and the practical conditions of deployment.

How we intend to create commercial value

Scoped feasibility and R&D work; conversion and energy-integration engineering; and project-specific testing, documentation and support. Deliverables, responsibilities, pricing and service commitments are agreed for each scope.

These are the commercial pathways being developed, not a statement of current revenue or completed deployments.

What a project can include

A requirements brief and feasibility assessment; architecture options, CAD and interface definitions; simulation or software prototypes; and a test plan, findings and handover records. The selected outputs depend on the agreed development stage.

Explore engineering outputs and engagement options.

Where we focus development effort

Powertrain and battery integration, embedded controls and HMI, test and validation capability, supplier qualification and repeatable installation and service documentation. Growth should follow verified technical performance and commercial learning.

What a partnership can enable

Well-defined pilot programmes, access to suitable vehicles and sites, specialist engineering collaboration, test capability and investment aligned with agreed development milestones. Practical learning and technician development can form part of a separately agreed scope.

From development to delivery

Progress with
clear milestones.

Our current work centres on prototype and software development, with configuration-specific verification in progress. Simulation, software checks, bench observations and vehicle tests remain distinct; scaling depends on evidence from the systems and applications we develop.

  1. Current focus

    Develop & integrate

Requirements, powertrain and controls development, prototype integration and technical documentation.

  2. Next validation stage

    Test & demonstrate

Configuration-specific safety and performance checks, operating trials, lifecycle assessment and customer feedback.

  3. Growth pathway

    Repeat & support

Qualified suppliers, repeatable delivery, service capability and a commercial case supported by actual project results.

A clear starting point for the next conversation.

This company brief brings our purpose, engineering scope, development stage and intended commercial pathways together. A detailed discussion can then review project evidence, the financial plan, governance and the scope of a potential partnership.
